In addition to pole holders, numerous exterior pockets, a hard case framed 17” x 14” x 11” interior area, there’s a handy pocket to hold your SUP paddle upfront and out of the way. This is a great add-on that makes your SUP all the better for exploring, camping, fishing, or just as a tender for your yacht!
Once you start down the stand up paddle boarding path, you’ll realize that as easy as it is to paddle, you can literally go out for hours. It’s nice to bring some stuff with you. In the beach communities of Southern California, everyone gets around on beach cruisers (bicycles) and the wisest ones have a big basket up front – for the towel, beer, kids toys, lunch, whatever. Having a stand up paddle board without something like the SUP Safari Pak is like having a beach cruiser without the basket. And it’s detachable, so you don’t have to always have it on. This is very important because you really don’t want to be surfing with this SUP Safari Pak on the front!
Included in the SUP Safari Pack are a set of four low-profile (so they don’t get in the way when surfing) peel and stick anchors and four tie-down straps to secure everything to the top surf deck of your stand up paddle board. If your SUP deck already has four deck front leash plugs (as is becoming more common), you can skip the installation of the peel and stick anchor points and just use the tie-down straps to secure everything right to your existing front deck leash plugs.
